About Lexington Technologies

Originally founded in 1979 as Elizabeth Carbide of North Carolina, the earliest days of Lexington Technologies were dedicated to manufacturing forming tools for the pharmaceutical and confectionery industries. In 1988, LexTech expanded its reach into the forging industry, adding the equipment and capabilities needed to manufacture punches, dies, ejectors, and bolsters for the Hatebur and Sakamura horizontal forging presses. In 2018, they added a 5-bar, 3,000 lb. vacuum heat-treating furnace that allows them to achieve the tool hardness requirements of our customers without the added lead time and expense of an outside heat treater. In 2023, Lexington Technologies became part of the global Daido Steel family, a major steel producer headquartered in Nagoya, Japan. Today, Lexington Technologies is your “Go To” source for precision machined components, delivering quality tools, on-time, at a competitive price.
