Life Science Cares Philadelphia
A collective industry effort to fight poverty in Greater Philadelphia
About Life Science Cares Philadelphia
Life Science Cares is a nonprofit organization that activates the financial and human capital of the life sciences industry to help disrupt the cycle of poverty and inequality in our communities. We bring together biotech, pharma, healthcare, venture, professional services, and industry leaders to invest in nonprofit organizations addressing poverty through three core pillars: Basic Needs, Education, and Opportunity. Through corporate partnerships, volunteer engagement, grantmaking, and strategic convening, Life Science Cares creates meaningful ways for the life sciences community to give back where they live and work. Our model is built on the belief that the industry working to save and improve lives can also play a powerful role in strengthening the cities where innovation happens. By connecting companies and leaders with high-impact nonprofit partners, we help turn generosity into action and action into lasting community change. In Philadelphia, Life Science Cares is proud to serve as the life sciences industry’s home for giving back. We support local nonprofit partners working on the front lines of poverty while creating opportunities for companies, employees, and executives to engage directly in the work. Together, we are building a more connected, more generous, and more equitable life sciences community.
