Liminal Design Office was founded by Martin Dowson, a seasoned design leader with over two decades of experience helping organisations navigate digital transformation, build design capability, and embed responsible practices. Through roles spanning agency, in-house, and advisory contexts, Martin has seen first-hand how organisations struggle in the gaps—between strategy and execution, between ambition and reality, between what they are and what they aspire to become. Liminal Design Office exists to fill those gaps. We help leaders see clearly, decide wisely, and act with confidence in the face of complexity and change. We provide interim Exec and advisory services on transformation through design as well as Design Leadership & Management coaching for CDOs and their teams. We help create business confident leaders of Design Capability within organisations undergoing significant and complex change.
