About Linutronix

Since 2006, Linutronix has stood for Linux expertise, technological depth, and long-term partnerships in the industrial sector. Based at Lake Constance and with a team of more than 30 employees, we combine the agility of a specialized technology company with decades of experience. Our developers are among the key contributors to PREEMPT_RT and actively shape the Linux kernel – including as long-standing maintainers of the x86 architecture and through the development of key components of the Linux flash driver infrastructure. With IGLOS – Industrial Grade Linux Operating System, we bring this experience together in our own secure Embedded Linux platform. IGLOS helps manufacturers meet cybersecurity requirements, secure products for the long term, and manage updates reliably throughout the entire product lifecycle. The Debian-based platform is certified according to IEC 62443-4-1/-4-2 Security Level 2 and combines Secure Boot, atomic updates with rollback protection, container support, and long-term kernel maintenance. In this way, we combine open source and industrial requirements to create a reliable technological foundation for secure, long-lasting, and future-proof products. Beyond IGLOS, we offer custom Linux solutions, Board Support Packages (BSPs), and hands-on consulting.
