About Locai (Google AI First ‘25)

Locai is an at-scale inference orchestration and routing platform. We run and route AI inference anywhere it needs to happen, from the chip in a user's laptop to the largest frontier models. The platform has three parts. Link is our inference runtime and runs on almost any hardware. Control is the management plane, where you set routing rules and monitor performance across your whole fleet. Workspace is a private AI workspace for teams, with chat, transcription, and document and image analysis in one place. We work with two kinds of companies: organisations that can't or won't put their data through cloud AI tools, and software companies that want to cut inference costs by running models on hardware their users already own.
