Celebrating 60 years in business in 2021, Manchetts Group has expanded from a 1960s village petrol station and workshop with 6 staff to a multi-site vehicle repair, recovery and sales provider employing nearly 150 today. We are proud of our team-driven solution-oriented ethos. Directors Chris, Glenn, Robert and Sean all have hands-on roles within the company and are pleased to have a new generation of family members learning the trade. Originally based in Burwell, Cambridgeshire, the company has expanded to include sites near Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket and, in 2020, Peterborough. The aftersales portfolio includes Manchetts Burwell; Patersons Bodyshops and Manchetts Renault, and Manchetts Car Van and Truck at Newmarket; Manchetts Peterborough and Manchetts Rescue and Recovery. Manchetts Vehicle Sales specialises in new vehicle franchises for MAN UK Truck and Bus, Isuzu Truck, and Isuzu 4x4 - alongside all makes used vehicle sales. The key feature of working with Manchetts is that our original ‘village values’ are replicated across the wider business: a client or business partner is immediately an individual member of the Manchetts community.
