About Manos Unidas International
Manos Unidas International is a (501(c)(3) non-profit corporation supporting Manos Unidas Peru, a legally registered Peruvian non-profit organization supporting children and young adults with special needs in Peru. Manos Unidas Peru was the first and only private/non-for-profit school for special education in Cusco, Peru. Manos Unidas consists of three educational programs: (1) “Camino Nuevo” el Centro de Educacion Basica Especial Particular (est. 2009); (2) The Inclusion Project for children in traditional classrooms (est. 2011); and (3) “Phawarispa” vocational training program for young adults (est. 2014).
