A natural, architectural coating of ancient Mayan origin, Mas Maya is a lime-based microcement designed for interiors and exteriors, including spaces in direct contact with water. Rooted in a centuries-old mineral tradition rediscovered in Mexico, it creates surfaces of depth and softness — tactile, enduring and quietly expressive. The material was first encountered in the Yucatán Peninsula, where traditional Mayan plaster is used to create seamless transitions between interior and exterior spaces. Its calming, sensory quality — as well as its remarkable durability over time — became the foundation for what would later evolve into Mas Maya. Developed in collaboration with Mexican expertise and reformulated using locally sourced materials, Mas Maya is produced in Conil de la Frontera, Andalusia. Enriched with plant extracts, it can be applied seamlessly to almost any surface, performing beautifully in bathrooms, kitchens, floors, façades and swimming pools. Breathable by nature and free from toxins and VOCs, Mas Maya absorbs and releases moisture naturally, contributing to healthier living environments.
