Maverick Living Legacy
A Lasting, Living Legacy. Building more than homes. Building a foundation for life.
About Maverick Living Legacy
At Maverick Living, we believe home is more than a roof or an address. Home is where a person feels safe, valued, supported and free to grow. For individuals with disabilities and their families, the future can bring difficult questions: Where will my loved one live? Who will support them? Will they be safe, connected and able to make choices? Beneath these concerns is one deeply personal question: “Who will be there when I no longer can?” Maverick Living exists to help families face that question with hope, preparation and peace of mind. Our mission is to create safe, supportive and empowering living environments where individuals with disabilities can learn, grow and live with dignity. We believe every person has strengths, interests, preferences and dreams. No one should be defined only by a diagnosis or by the support they need. For some, Maverick may become a lifelong home and community. For others, it may be a place to build confidence before moving toward a home of their own. Some may need daily support, while others may need assistance during certain seasons or transitions. There is no single definition of independence. What matters is that each person has meaningful choices, opportunities to participate and the support needed to continue moving forward. Our approach begins with listening. We seek to understand each individual’s goals, interests, needs and sources of joy. Support should not take away a person’s voice or control their future. It should help them discover what they can do and encourage them to reach for what comes next. That is why Maverick Living is about more than housing. A meaningful home is connected to relationships, purpose, opportunity and belonging. Everyday activities, preparing a meal, managing a schedule, caring for a personal space, choosing an activity or participating in household decisions, can build confidence and independence. Together, we can replace fear with peace of mind.
