Our Mission: The Maryland Broadband Cooperative (MBC) is dedicated to providing reliable and competitive digital connectivity solutions, with a focus on serving unserved and underserved areas across Maryland. Since 2006, MBC has built a 100% fiber-optic network, delivering cutting-edge connectivity and modern infrastructure to businesses and communities. With over 2,600 route miles of fiber, our extensive statewide fiber network includes 33+ Points of Presence and provides 100% access to all state right-of-way. We proudly serve 18 of Maryland's 23 counties, with three fiber paths across the Chesapeake Bay and a dedicated fiber path across the Potomac River.
