About Medics
Founded in 2016 as an innovative startup within the Innovative Business Incubator of the Polytechnic of Turin (I3P), Medics is today a leading company in the field of 3D anatomical modeling applied to pre-operative planning and intra-operative support of surgeries. Thanks to the medical-surgical knowledge and the technical skills of our team, we have developed the Hyper Accuracy 3D® ️(HA3D®), a three-dimensional, extremely precise patient-specific anatomical reconstruction, which is used by surgeons and their team to draw up an optimal surgical plan. The virtual and physical HA3D® models are in 1:1 scale and are processed starting from traditional 2D diagnostics (X-ray, CT, AngioTC, MRI). All our products, designed with the most advanced image processing and additive manufacturing technologies, are Medical Devices. The HA3D® reconstructions, made through a close collaboration between engineering and medicine, guarantee the patient a tailored surgical treatment and allow the doctor to simulate surgery, predicting the outcome and reducing the risks of complications or infections. Case management is simplified by our MyMedics cloud portal and operating times are very short: max 72 hours from receiving DICOM images to delivery of the three-dimensional model. The HA3D® workflow, certified and quality assured to ISO 13485: 2016 standard, is transversal and every surgery can benefit from it. Currently Medics is active in the divisions of Orthopedics, Urology, General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery and Gynecology.
