Our team and volunteers are dedicated to providing an enriching sanctuary for our animals and an entertaining and educational experience for our guests. Today, the Memphis Zoo is one of Memphis’ highest-attended attractions seeing over a million visitors each year. Memphis Zoo is proud of its worldwide conservation and research efforts. We are committed to protecting and preserving Sumatran tigers, biodiversity in Sri Lanka, Dusky Gopher frogs, Louisiana pine snakes, Grauer's (Eastern Lowland) gorillas, and African elephants through our partnerships. These species are all facing critical endangerment in the wild.
