Metro Technologies is building a wholesale data centre platform in North Yorkshire, 30km from Leeds, unlocking substantial UK power capacity for cloud, AI, GPU, sovereign and HPC operators without the planning, grid and construction risk of a new build. Our first site opens with a 30MW powered and cooled shell, available from 5MW blocks up to the full platform, with first capacity live in 2027. Six fibre carriers are already on site, backed by a new 144-fibre route into Leeds and onward national connectivity. We're not stopping there. Metro is decentralising the hyperscale model, building 5 x 30MW+ data centres across the North of England, so our clients get sovereignty over their data and the speed to deploy, without relying on a single hyperscale region.
