Middle Point Engineering provides practical engineering support for maritime and shipbuilding projects, from basic design through detail and production engineering. Our focus is on engineering that supports progress throughout the project: technically sound, well coordinated between disciplines and structured for efficient procurement, production and construction. Basic engineering We create structure early in the project by defining technical principles, interfaces and system layouts in line with project requirements and future execution. Detail engineering We develop coordinated engineering packages with direct focus on practical execution, planning, procurement and production. Production engineering We translate engineering into buildable output that helps yards and production teams work efficiently, reducing interruptions, corrections and coordination issues during construction. Mechanical engineering We engineer and coordinate piping, HVAC, auxiliary systems, propulsion-related installations, equipment integration and outfitting, with attention to system and supplier interfaces. Structural engineering Our scope includes steel and aluminium structures, hull and deck structures, foundations, structural calculations, detailing and production drawings, tailored to the way the vessel will actually be built. System integration & outfitting We support equipment integration, platforms, ladders, pipe and cable supports and other outfitting structures, while managing supplier interfaces and multidisciplinary dependencies.
