About Misereor

Since 1958, we support people in areas where poverty is greatest. We actively fight injustice, violence and poverty with no ifs or buts. Together with our project partners in Africa, the Middle East, in Asia, Oceania, Latin America and the Caribbean as well as with people like you we help people help themselves. We champion a better future and a live of dignity for all. However, Misereor does not just fight poverty, hunger and injustice, but also their causes. As a political lobbying organisation for the disadvantaged, Misereor is critical of the prevailing global economic model and its implications for poverty levels and human rights, insists on more determined action against climate change, and denounces unjust social structures in the countries of the Global South. Misereor thrives on the commitment of the many and their willingness to stand by the countries of the Global South. Now is the time to get involved and spring into action.
