Mmimetika Biosciences ApS is a spinout of Aarhus University established in 2022 with the mission to develop, acquire regulatory approvals, and market lactate/ketone esters mimicking Nature's response to exercise and fasting. Our esters are liquids that can be digested "as is" or diluted in a drink. As a tool in Clinical Nutrition, they will become an important tool in the combat of Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes. Moreover, the lactate-ketone esters will improve sports results, reduce recovery period, prevent muscle loss in the elderly, improve cognitive function, and increase longevity. Our lactate/ketone esters act through ELKA - External Lactate and Ketone Activation, that mimics the bodily response ensuing hard exercise and fasting.
