Mondsey
PPWR & EPR compliance, built for how you actually ship.
About Mondsey
Mondsey handles EU packaging compliance so you can keep shipping. If you sell, carry or fulfil shipments across or into the EU, the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) rules and requirements are now part of doing business in Europe. Every EU country has its own registration, reporting and levy requirements. Most merchants and carriers do not have the time, the expertise or the appetite to manage this in-house. That is what Mondsey does. We register your business with the relevant Producer Responsibility Organisations, calculate your packaging obligations from your actual shipping data, file your declarations, and return the compliance proof you need to keep selling. You send us your shipment data. We handle the rest. Our platform is built around how cross-border commerce actually works - CSV uploads from the systems you already use, a REST API for carriers and platforms that want to integrate directly, and a processing engine that maps real shipment data to real regulatory obligations across all 27 EU member states. Mondsey is founded by a team that has built and operated cross-border customs and VAT compliance technology used by carriers and merchants every day. PPWR is the same pattern - a fragmented regulatory obligation that nobody wants to manage themselves, solved through technology and operational expertise. We are focused on EU packaging compliance today. Cross-border commerce creates new compliance obligations constantly, and we intend to be the platform that handles them.
