Moxie
Supporting children’s social-emotional development—beyond the classroom.
About Moxie
Children spend much of their day learning academic skills in school. But many of the experiences that shape social-emotional development happen outside the classroom. The hours between school pickup and bedtime are filled with moments where children experience frustration, disappointment, excitement, and connection. These everyday interactions with caregivers play an important role in helping children develop resilience. Moxie was created to support families in those moments. Through short, parent-led activities, Moxie helps families introduce, practice, and reflect on social-emotional skills together—designed to spark interaction, not replace it. Grounded in 20 years of research in conjunction with Harvard’s EASEL Lab, and designed for real family life, Moxie helps bring social-emotional learning into everyday routines. Follow along as we share insight on raising resilient kids.
