About Museum Sage
Museum Sage® is a guided experience that offers you insights into a personal, business or social question through a work of art. You deeply connect to your inner wisdom, the people you’re playing with, and the art. Museum Sage® was born 22 years ago when Co-founder and Director Laurie Phillips realized she wasn’t able to be present to the art in a museum exhibit. She complained to her husband, Jon Spayde, and he made up a game that immediately helped her to focus and feel present. Since then this whole-brain activity has been used both in-person and online by major museums, Fortune 500 companies, and wellness presenters. Museum Sage will be featured in the forthcoming book, "An Empathy-Building Toolkit for Museums," edited by Elif Gokcigdem, PhD, published in 2025 by the American Alliance of Museums.
