About MyCardium AI
We are MyCardium AI, transforming cardiac care through advanced artificial intelligence for imaging and diagnostics. MyCardium AI uses deep learning trained on thousands of expert-labelled heart scans to automatically analyse images, while keeping doctors in control of the final decisions. Founded in 2022 as a spin-out from University College London (UCL) by world-leading cardiologists and imaging researchers Professor James Moon, Professor Mark Westwood, and Professor Charlotte Manisty, we bring research-grade AI into real clinical practice to help diagnose heart disease earlier, faster, and more reliably. Our human-in-the-loop AI technology enables faster, more precise, and consistent image interpretation, reducing stress and freeing up time for clinicians so they can focus on patient care. Our products, 1CMR Pro (FDA 510(k) cleared, CE Class IIb) and EchoConfidence, combine pattern recognition beyond human vision with human oversight, suggesting measurements and outlines that clinicians review and validate. We also provide Core Lab services for multi-center clinical trials and research, accelerating and standardising imaging endpoints, critical for drug development and cardiac research. Headquartered in Liverpool, UK, our technology is used internationally across hospitals, research programmes, and clinical trials. ISO 13485 certification and regulatory approvals ensure safety, reliability, and trust. Our mission is to empower clinicians with intelligent tools that improve patient care, reduce workload, automating the routine, empowering the expert and advance the global understanding of heart disease, transforming cardiac diagnostics worldwide.
