Empowering Caregivers Through Knowledge & Story
About My Care Friends
What started as an online community for caregivers and advocates, has transformed into a broader organization that produces educational series and conducts research with leading institutions such as the University of Southern California. Our series are primarily in the form of podcasts, and they reside on the My Care Friends Network on YouTube. As of April 2026, these include: - Women & Rheumatic Health: Invisible Battles - Global Caregiving Youth Collective: Young Carers. Different Lives. One Voice. - Hope in Aging & Dementia: Changing the Narrative - Extended Reality & AI in Healthcare: What You Need to Know - 5-minute Care Tips with Dr. Raj Additionally, we are honored to be a member of the Elizabeth Dole Foundation's Hidden Helpers Coalition – lending our insights related to young carers of U.S. Armed Forces Veterans. Our content is developed with family and professional caregivers, advocates, and healthcare professionals in mind. The intent is to provide extensive knowledge and know-how for each of those stakeholders to gain greater understanding, and be more effective in their roles. Overall, our mission is to bring about greater awareness on local, regional, national, and global levels, of the need for significantly increased support of caregivers -- especially in light of the exponentially growing shortage of caregivers. We invite you to follow us to stay informed of our ongoing work. Thank you!
