About National Dementia Care Accreditation Scheme (NaDCAS)
NaDCAS was founded as a Social Enterprise by an experienced group of Occupational Therapists, Psychiatric Nurses, Dementia Researchers, and Senior Care Home Managers. NaDCAS aims to support care homes to transform the level of Dementia care delivery they offer to their residents and families. Our processes, frameworks and assessment materials have been created alongside industry professionals and universities with a total of over 50 years of Dementia Care experience going into our Framework which is at the heart of what we deliver. Our accreditation and kite mark are registered trade marks and all rights are reserved to the owner National Dementia Care Accreditation Scheme.
