With over 30 years of experience in the maritime industry, the company has built a portfolio of more than 80 ship designs, mostly ro-ro and ro-pax, luxury and mega yachts. Every new project has come to light from the encounter between an extensive experience in naval architecture and engineering, providing innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions to shipbuilding. NAOS Ship & Boat Design is headquartered in Trieste, Italy, in the heart of Europe, and has expanded its presence with offices in Spain, Sweden, and Croatia. The company boasts a talented team of 40 naval architects, marine engineers, and consultants who possess expertise in all core naval architecture and marine engineering specialties. NAOS is committed to providing comprehensive consultancy services to its partners and customers for ship new buildings, retrofit, and conversion projects. This includes a range of services such as initial design, basic design, structural calculations, hull classification drawings, structural workshop drawings, machinery classification drawings, and plant design. With this in mind, Naos latest accomplishment, the Wing Sail Module - WSM - has taken shape: the WSM is a simple, modular, and fast-to-install Wind Assisted Ship Propulsion system, which has already been successfully tested and validated on a commercial ship, showcasing the company's commitment to creating sustainable and innovative solutions for the maritime industry.
