About National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP)
NAWDP provides professional development, resources, and certification credibility to individuals seeking to successfully compete and thrive in a workforce development career and become leaders in their field. Our Mission We enrich the workforce development community by connecting and advancing workforce professionals and through building innovative partnerships. Our Vision We are the leading advocate for workforce development professionals. NAWDP members are drawn from: workforce investment boards; America’s Job Centers; community and career colleges; military bases; youth employment programs; corporations; faith and community-based organizations; and more. NAWDP members work directly with businesses and corporations, adult job seekers, youth, and priority populations. Priority populations include ex-offenders, migrant farm workers, senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, military veterans, the homeless, and others who experience barriers to employment.
