National Infusion Center Association represents non-hospital, community-based infusion providers that deliver provider-administered medications in clinically appropriate alternatives to hospital outpatient care. NICA works to protect, preserve, and advance the community-based infusion delivery channel by supporting policies, standards, education, and market solutions that improve patient access, promote care quality, and sustain provider viability. Our work focuses on: - Delivery channel sustainability and expansion - Buy-and-bill protection - Net-positive reimbursement for infusion providers - Patient access to provider-administered therapies - Site-of-care optimization - Care quality, safety, and standards - Reducing avoidable reliance on higher-cost hospital settings NICA supports a healthcare system in which patients can receive complex therapies in the highest-quality, lowest-cost, clinically appropriate care setting.
