Nuclear Energy Organisation Netherlands (NEO NL)
NEO NL will develop two nuclear power plants on behalf of the government in the Netherlands.
About Nuclear Energy Organisation Netherlands (NEO NL)
NEO NL is responsible for the construction, operation, and eventual decommissioning of two new nuclear power plants in the Netherlands. In this way, we contribute to the energy transition and the achievement of the Dutch climate goals. Besides being an executive organisation, NEO NL is also a knowledge organisation. We will capture, share, and further develop the nuclear energy knowledge we gain during our work for the Netherlands. We collaborate with (international) specialists, knowledge institutes, and educational institutions. NEO NL is a state-owned company. The government determines nuclear energy policy. NEO NL oversees the construction of the two nuclear power plants. Information on the construction is still very limited in the current preparatory phase. As the project progresses, and once we know the location for the two plants and who will the technology vendor, we'll be able to share more information. Interested in this complex project or how you can contribute? Visit our website: www.neonl.com For up-to-date information on the choice for nuclear energy and on the possible locations of nuclear power plants, please visit the government website: www.overkernenergie.nl.
