New Sector Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our mission is to strengthen organizations and develop leaders with the skill sets, mindsets, and connections to solve our world's greatest challenges. Nonprofits are losing the mission-driven leaders their communities depend on: nonprofits led every sector in CEO departures last year, and more than half of nonprofit leaders plan to leave their roles within five years. For 25 years, New Sector has addressed this at every level of the system: Developing resilient, transformative leaders. Our Leadership Longevity Fellowship pairs cohort-based peer learning with one-on-one executive coaching, helping mid-career nonprofit leaders build the resilience and skills to stay in the work. Strengthening organizations through responsible AI adoption. Our AI for Organizational Sustainability program, developed with support from Anthropic, helps nonprofits move from scattered AI experimentation to organization-wide strategy, governance, and capability. Building stronger ecosystems through collaboration. Our Strategic Partnerships for Sustainability work supports nonprofits across the full continuum of collaboration, from joint programs and shared services to strategic alliances and mergers. Across 25 years, we've developed 6,000+ leaders, strengthened 700+ organizations, and reached 3 million+ people, with outcomes measured through independent, funder-sponsored evaluation.
