About National Hispanic Health Foundation
The National Hispanic Health Foundation (NHHF) (501c3) was established in 1994 in Washington, DC. The Foundation's mission is to support educational and research activities to improve the health of Hispanics. In 2004, NHHF established its National Hispanic Health Professional Student Scholarship Program and held its first Gala in New York City, which awarded over $1.740M in scholarships to over 336 outstanding Hispanic health professional students. In 2005, NHHF established its Corporate Advisory Board to provide input to NHHF programs, meeting twice a year with the NHHF Board of Directors. In 2021, we established the National Center for Hispanic Health Research to expand Latino physician mentoring and participation in clinical research. For more information, go to www.nhhfx.org.
