The NHP Foundation (NHPF) is a national nonprofit real estate organization advancing affordable, service-enriched housing so residents and communities can thrive. Founded in 1989, NHPF has invested $3B to preserve and create affordable homes—8,000+ units across 14 states and D.C., serving 40,000+ residents. We develop and steward housing for seniors, families, and individuals, pairing high-quality real estate with resident-led programs that promote stability and opportunity. Through our development platform and resident-services subsidiary Operation Pathways, we deliver sustainable housing, Family-Centered Coaching, and strong public-private partnerships.
