The National Institute of Professional Engineers and Scientists (NIPES) is an international professional association dedicated to fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and interdisciplinary research among engineers, scientists, researchers, academics, industry professionals, and innovators. Originally established as The Nigerian Institution of Professional Engineers and Scientists on 20 June 2019, the organization was incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA), Cap. C20, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, on 13 November 2021. Building on this foundation, NIPES expanded its international presence through incorporation under the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Corporate Division, United States of America, on 13 December 2024, marking a significant milestone in its global development. NIPES serves as a platform for advancing research, innovation, professional development, and interdisciplinary collaboration across engineering, science, and technology. The Institute promotes the exchange and dissemination of research knowledge, facilitates networking among professionals from academia, industry, government, and research institutions, and supports lifelong learning through conferences, workshops, publications, training programmes, and professional development initiatives.
