About Guarini Institute of International Education and Economic Mobility

Our mission is to create novel tools to facilitate the economic mobility of individuals and families experiencing financial hardship. Our vision is that financially vulnerable individuals and families have access to relevant information and resources to improve their upward economic mobility. The Guarini Institute for International Education and Economic Mobility was made possible by a $5 million gift from distinguished former Congressman and long-time sponsor of NJCU, Hon. Frank J. Guarini. In February 2021, Dr. Adrian Franco, a former officer and director at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, began his role as inaugural executive director and manager of the $5 million gift.
