About NN Ventures

NN Group’s corporate venture builder, NN Ventures, explores and develops new business models to complement our existing portfolio across Life & Pensions, Bank, Non-Life and potentially beyond. We are bringing new businesses (ventures) to life that can operate independently, but are designed to complement existing NN products. We invest our innovation resources in a small number of new ventures per year, up to the Seed stage. When the ventures are incorporated as a standalone company, they can be offered to NN customers as well as for external investment. By leveraging assets like our customer base, distribution and underwriting capabilities, we aim to combine the power of an established incumbent like NN with the entrepreneurial skills of a startup. NN Ventures is focused on developing products for the pension market (under the theme Care-free retirement) and in embedded insurance, which enables customers to purchase insurance products via a third-party platform.
