About Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida

Founded in 2002, the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida is a member-driven organization that serves as the primary authority on and advocate for the region’s nonprofit sector. The mission of the Nonprofit Center is to: • Create a thriving nonprofit community by equipping sector leaders; • Facilitate collective action; and • Enhance public understanding of nonprofits and their impact on the local economy and quality of life. To advance this mission, the Nonprofit Center: • Connects nonprofits to one another and to information and resources; • Convenes members and organizations to build consensus, leadership, and stronger nonprofits; • Advocates for the nonprofit sector with elected officials, funders, community leaders, and the media; • Develops programs, services and resources; and • Communications nonprofits'​ impact and value to the community.
