Nordic Air Defence is building a sovereign, software-defined air defence platform designed for the realities of autonomous warfare. The market is undergoing a structural shift. Low-cost autonomous drones are scaling exponentially while legacy air defence systems remain economically and operationally unsustainable against mass attacks. NAD has already demonstrated kinetic target engagements and operates continuous live testing and demonstration cycles with defence forces and strategic partners – creating a rapid battlefield feedback and iteration engine fundamentally different from traditional defence procurement cycles. Beyond products, NAD is building a vertically integrated European defence ecosystem through internal IP development, software-defined infrastructure and selective acquisition of critical technologies across the air defence stack. As Europe accelerates rearmament and seeks sovereign capabilities independent of fragmented foreign supply chains, companies combining rapid iteration, autonomy, scalable manufacturing and architecture ownership will define the future defence landscape.
