Nordic Salt Cycle recovers critical and strategic minerals with a low-cost, flexible and scalable molten salt process. At Nordic Salt Cycle, we believe that the world needs to move more quickly to a mineral economy – transitioning from fossil fuels to clean energy on an accelerated timeline. For us, this goes hand-in-hand with developing new technologies for cleaner and more efficient recovery of critical and strategic minerals, as well as ensuring security of supply in increasingly challenging times. With our roots and heart in the Nordics, we want to leverage the massive potential of recovery and recycling to limit the need to import minerals to Europe. The need for mining will never completely disappear, but by recovering and reintroducing vital minerals into the value chain, we can contribute to Europe’s energy independence, economic resilience, and environmental sustainability.
