About Northampton Saints Foundation
In 1880, Northampton Saints Rugby Football Club was formed when Reverend Samuel Wathan Wigg identified rugby as a way to channel the energies of some of the county’s more troubled youngsters. Today, Northampton Saints Foundation continue his legacy, Our vision is to use the power of sport and the values of rugby to empower young minds and enrich lives across generations. Inspire Use our history to inspire our work and build positive futures in our community. Our misson is to: Support Empower people to enhance their wellbeing, build strong relationships, and feel a sense of belonging. Educate Nurture learning, personal growth and essential life skills through physical, social, emotional and academic development. As the charity arm of Northampton Saints Rugby Football Club, the Foundation is completely financially independent from the club meaning your support is vital so we can continue to inspire, support and educate young people through our social and education programmes.
