About NOVAGO (China Everbright Environment)

We are a leading Polish producer of alternative fuel RDF, operating since 1992. We support municipalities and businesses in four provinces (Mazowieckie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Wielkopolskie, Kujawsko-Pomorskie), converting waste that would otherwise end up in landfills into high-calorific fuel. Our six modern facilities employ over 450 people and focus on the efficient production of RDF. As part of our development, we operate periodic anaerobic bioreactors, which allow us to recover electricity and heat. We treat waste as a valuable resource: after recycling, we extract a combustible fraction for RDF production and an organic fraction for biogas. In doing so, we support Polish cement plants by replacing coal and reducing CO₂ emissions. Key milestones in our history include the rebranding to Novago in 2015 and the acquisition by China Everbright Environment in the second half of 2016.
