The New York City Teaching Fellows program is preparing a critical mass of exceptional teachers committed to a better future for the NYC students who need them most. Our teachers go where they are needed the most - they teach in underserved communities, where schools often struggle to attract and retain great teachers. More than 10,000 Teaching Fellows are currently teaching in New York City public schools. Together they are demonstrating the power of great teaching – and proving what’s possible in public education.
