About Odne

Odne has its roots in a groundbreaking collaboration between two renowned Swiss institutions: the Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology in Lausanne and Zürich (EPFL & ETH Zürich). Founded in 2018, Odne is committed to pioneering the future of endodontics through advanced technology and innovative solutions. Pain points of today’s root canal treatment are the highly technique sensitive preparation of the root canal, bleach as the main irrigation and disinfection medium, and the tedious obturation procedures. In addition, past innovations in endodontic devices often came at a prohibitive pricing. Odne’s Technology Platform for Debridement and Obturation. OdneClean innovates root canal debridement, introducing hydro-dynamic cavitation using saline solution as main irrigation medium. OdneFill and OdneCure are game-changers in root canal obturation. OdneFill is a light-curing, highly flowable, one material root canal filler that instantly photo-cures upon applying OdneCure, a high-precision, laser-based curing lamp. Both technologies can be easily integrated in the existing workflows individually. Together, they enable Root Preservation Therapy (RPT). RPT increases patient comfort through less surgical trauma/risk. RPT using the Odne Solution accelerates the endo workflow, is less complex to train and makes it easier to retreat complications. Besides the core innovations in hydro-dynamic cavitation and light-curing hydrogel technology, the highly flexible application tips for OdneClean / OdneFill (190µm), and the optical fiber of OdneCure (200µm) are first of its kind in dental.
