About Of Coarse
Specialty coffee was getting too sour and the culture too pretentious, so we started roasting for people like us. Of Coarse Coffee Co. is a North Shore Chicago roaster built for the city-hearted suburbanite who is completely done settling for coffee they don't love. It’s where our DIY spirit meets the best beans we can source. Somewhere along the way, getting a good cup of coffee turned into a high-science chemistry experiment or an elite club you don't think you're cool enough to join. We think that’s exhausting. We take our roasting incredibly seriously, but we don’t take life seriously. That means zero fluff, zero coffee snobbery and absolutely no rules on what you put in your cup. Drink it how you like it. French press, drip, AeroPress, pour-over, or even pods. Add milk, sugar, syrups… or don’t. We don't judge. It’s your cup. We just love keeping you caffeinated.
