Somewhere along the way, we started using insurance for everything — and the system broke under the weight of it. OffPlan was built on a simple premise: 80% of healthcare doesn't require insurance. Primary care, chronic disease management, preventive visits, labs, care coordination — these are predictable, manageable, and far better delivered outside the insurance machinery. We are a direct care platform built on physician-owned practices that gives employers, employees, and individuals access to a dedicated primary care physician — same-day access, no deductibles, no co-pays, no prior authorizations, no claims. For the 20% that is genuinely catastrophic, stop-loss coverage remains in place. Insurance stays in the background, where it belongs. We are not anti-insurance. We are anti-misuse of insurance. OffPlan serves small and mid-size employers (5–250 employees) who are paying $27,000+ per year per family for coverage their employees are afraid to use. We replace that with a fixed-cost, physician-led model that delivers substantial cost savings — and better care. Physicians in the OffPlan network own their practices. They carry panels of 600-800 patients instead of 2,500. They spend 45 minutes with patients, not 7. They text back. This is not a new insurance product. It is a different category entirely.
