Conventional high‑end IMUs rely on bulky, expensive fiber‑optic gyros, while low‑cost MEMS devices struggle with drift and noise in demanding conditions. OSCP integrates optical gyroscope components such as, laser, phase modulators, and photodetectors onto a single photonic chip, achieving major reductions in size, power and cost versus traditional navigation‑grade optical gyroscopes alternatives, while surpassing MEMS accuracy for autonomy‑grade navigation. OSCP’s IMUs are sold as open, sensor‑level building blocks so customers can fully own their navigation stack: you buy the IMU, feed raw inertial data into your own fusion algorithms and autonomy software, and keep complete control over data, models and mission IP with no vendor‑hosted black box.
