Before starting OPP, Richard spent years in web design, building marketplaces and platforms for others, and kept seeing the same problem: payments and onboarding tools weren't built for platform businesses. So he built one that was. Early on, Richard brought in Maurice Jongmans as CEO to lead day-to-day operations, while Richard focused on product and vision. That combination shaped how OPP scaled. That founding mindset still shapes us today. Rather than forcing platforms into a generic payment model, we build around how platforms actually operate, from early-stage startups to established enterprises.
