About Open Mobile Alliance
The Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) brings together leading industry players to create multi-vendor interoperability for Internet of Things (IoT) devices and Smart City solutions through the development and interoperability testing of consensus-based technical standards and specifications. As a non-profit entity with deep roots in mobile and IoT innovation, OMA has been instrumental in the development of key protocols and models, most notably Lightweight M2M (LwM2M), IPSO Smart Objects, and most recently the uCIFI® data model. These protocols and testing programs have become a cornerstone for IoT and Smart City solutions, enabling efficient and secure communications across diverse wireless networks to advance the connected world.
