In good design, form follows function. Presently, business uses a template of organization design aimed to maximize profit. Over time, the firepower of economics, philosophy, law, technology have melded and perfected this form to suit this singular purpose. And we are seeing tremendous success of laser focused and efficient design unleashing the power of profit maximization in the world at the cost human spirit and planetary boundaries. As we are maturing in our thinking, we are shifting our focus away from scarcity and towards possibility and are on our way to orienting towards abundance. We are learning to move gently towards a dream rather than frantically away from fear. In this more relaxed state we can begin to focus on the dream rather than on hoarding, creating excess, imagining risks and so on. Many of us have shared dreams and aspirations. It is the collective power of these dreams that will create the future. Let us embark on the journey to consciously and collectively articulate these dreams, find each other and organize around the intent to move towards those dreams, together. The goal of our team is to help articulate and actualize shared purpose. We are untangling the web of assumptions around what it means to have respectful and loving relationships at work, such that we may help each other to unlock our individual gifts on the path to shared destinations. With each company and group, we start with purpose, organize people around this purpose, design resource flows to enable activities to promote and magnify and create feedback loops for incremental evolution. The methodology adapts DesignThink principles and milestones. We essentially break down collective manifestation into a repeatable process but unique by design to every group and their purpose.
