About Out in Tech

Out in Tech unites the LGBTQ+ tech community. Founded in 2013, Out in Tech has grown into a global network of more than 70,000 members across chapters around the world. We create opportunities for LGBTQ+ people in tech to build meaningful connections, advance their careers, and support one another through every stage of their professional journey. Through community events, career talks, and partnerships with leading companies, we help connect our members to resources, opportunities, and an expansive professional network across the tech industry. Our programs also extend beyond career development. Through Out in Tech Digital Corps, volunteers collaborate with grassroots organizations to build websites and digital tools that support social impact initiatives worldwide. We also invest in the next generation of talent through youth programming designed to support students and early-career professionals exploring pathways into tech.
