About Oxfordshire Community Land Trust
Oxfordshire Community Land Trust (OCLT) is a Community Benefit Society registered in 2006 and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority with charitable status. It is committed to creating permanently-affordable homes in the county of Oxfordshire and has built up considerable capacity, networks and know-how in this approach. OCLT has acquired its first housing development site for 8 affordable rental homes for people in housing need in Dean Court, Botley (Vale of White Horse District Council). The site commenced in May 2022 and will be complete by May 2023. OCLT is now also a Registered Provider. OCLT has a strong board and excellent governance arrangements due to the required preparation to register with the HCA. It has also built up strong relationships with various financial organisations, including Charity Bank, Triodos, CAF Venturesome, Ecology Building Society and Resonance.
