That's why, to produce our animal heme proteins, we no longer use animals. Instead, we use yeast. At Paleo, we don’t need to breed, transport or slaughter livestock. We don’t use any antibiotics or hormones, and our product is free of GMOs. Our process of fermentation uses less land, energy and water. It emits far less greenhouse gases and contributes to ending the immense loss of biodiversity on earth.
