About Peace Innovation Initiative

The Peace Innovation Initiative is a community of visionaries leading a global movement to accelerate positive disruption and establish active peace as a pillar of innovation worldwide. Founded through the vision and leadership of Barbara Winston, her son Gordon Winston, and our founding partner, the UN mandated University for Peace, PII has been presented at the UN General Assembly and leads cross-sector convenings and global fellowships to explore the intersections of innovation, technology, and sustainable impact. With a mission to create and enable a global practice of peace, PII acts as a hub for global dialogue and exchange: connecting diverse minds and equipping them with the tools to launch impact-based innovations.
