Pedagogue
AI capability for a whole school staff. Leaders, teachers and support staff. One shared AI Standard.
About Pedagogue
Pedagogue supports schools in becoming AI enabled. Training for all school staff - teachers and support staff - sits at the heart of that. Leading with AI, our flagship course, was co-developed with St Paul's Girls' School and reaches 1,200 schools through SOCS. There are six modules, with two pathways. The Core pathway is three modules, taken by everyone: leaders, teachers and support staff alike, so that a school starts from one shared standard. 1. Introduction: the basics of AI 2. Using AI to Save Time 3. Using AI to Enhance Practice The Advanced pathway adds three modules for current and aspiring leaders, from governors and SLT to middle leaders. 4. Assessment in the Age of AI 5. Ethics and Responsible Use of AI 6. Guidance, Policies and Strategic Planning Our core package is £4,995 exc VAT per year, for a whole school staff. Every member of staff earns an AI Passport, a validated record of the credentials they hold and the modules behind them. Senior leaders see the same picture across a whole staff through the admin console, so AI upskilling is tracked centrally and can be evidenced. Beyond the course sits a resource library of tried and tested use cases, with guidance and templates on policy and regulation, and the Pedagogue Community: online and in-person events, teach meets, and networking for the people doing this work in their own schools. This is not work done at a distance from schools. Pedagogue is not your typical edtech company. The approach is rooted in the sector-leading work of Dr Will Van Reyk, who has led AI adoption at two of the country's foremost schools, North London Collegiate and St Paul's Girls' School. Teachers and students come first by design. Unlike big tech, our commitment is to empowering those working in schools to integrate AI responsibly into education. The key question for us is not simply how do we use AI in schools, but how do we educate students for a world of AI?
